A familiar challenge, a different expedition
If you are searching for games like Krillion, raredelve offers another place to practise finding a clear, less obvious answer. You type an answer to an open question, check its restrictions and commit before the timer ends. Correct answers uncover gold or gemstones.
In raredelve, a run has seven rounds. Each round begins with a three-second question preview followed by twenty seconds to answer. A correct answer locks the round; an unrecognized answer can be retried while time remains. Finish the run to see your total, up to 700 points.

How raredelve scores your answers
Less obvious correct answers can earn more points, but obscurity alone does not guarantee a higher score. Each accepted answer has a value assigned in advance: gold flake 10, gold nugget 15, emerald 30, ruby 60, amethyst cluster 85 or diamond 100. A missed, skipped or expired round adds zero.
These values are not real-time answer frequencies. If another player submits the same answer later, your result does not lose points. Your answer still has to meet the question’s exact conditions and be recognized by the game. Read the scoring guide for a worked teaching example.
Choose your first expedition
- Daily trivia: start with seven scheduled questions across subjects.
- Geography, Movies or Music: choose a familiar subject.
- European culture: explore people, works and traditions within each question’s boundaries.
- Endless: continue with more seven-question sets from available released content. The pool is finite, so repeats are possible.
- Duel: invite one friend to a private room, answer the same questions against shared deadlines, and compare your totals.
raredelve is free to play without an account. Saved progress belongs to the same browser; it does not automatically transfer between devices. A refresh does not pause a live round. The full rules explain saving, practice and Duels.
Is raredelve the alternative you want?
Try it if you enjoy open-answer trivia, short timed rounds and the satisfaction of recalling a less obvious fact. You can play alone or make a private challenge for one friend. If you want scores calculated from live crowd-answer percentages or automatic cross-device progress, those are not features of raredelve’s current game.
raredelve is a separate game, not an official Krillion mode or an endorsed extension. Krillion is named here to help you compare games. For a missing answer or a correction to this page, contact us.
